Traci Dunn Browne Legacy Fund
This Fund has been established in memory of Traci Dunn Browne, whose dedication to connecting sponsors with children in need transformed lives and transcended borders. While her passing on April 2, 2024 leaves a void, her legacy of love continues to inspire. We can think of no better way to honor Traci than by making it possible for young servant-leaders to follow in her footsteps.
About Traci
In her 54 years on earth, Traci Dunn Browne impacted people from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. After marrying Rob in 1995, she brought three sons and a daughter into this world and educated most of them at home for most of their school days.
Professionally, she was a schoolteacher, a missionary, and a bakery co-owner. From 2020 until 2024 she was the Director of Child Sponsorship Programs for YouthReach International. She advocated for orphans and vulnerable youth in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
She adored her family, preferred gerbera daisies, held your hand when she spoke with you, and habitually assumed the best in everyone she met. After staring down cancer in 2010 and again in 2022, Traci’s third occurrence in early 2024 was not to be overcome. Traci passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on April 2, 2024, at home, surrounded by her parents, husband, children, brother, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. We will long grieve her passing, and always celebrate her life!
About the Fund
To honor her last wishes for long-term impact, YouthReach International has established the Traci Dunn Browne Legacy Fund. The Fund will finance a Fellowship that will support a young servant-leader and a Scholarship for a sponsored child.
Fellows throughout the years will carry forward Traci’s legacy by championing the care of sponsors and the empowerment of children through sponsorship programs. Additionally, the Fund will award, on a special-opportunity basis determined by YouthReach International and relevant partners, a Scholarship for a sponsored child towards realizing their potential.
To ensure the duration and preservation of the Fund, every year a Campaign will be initiated on March 10 – Traci’s Birthday. The Campaign will run through April 10, honoring her holy last days during which her wishes were discussed and disclosed.
