The last few months have been very formative for relationships between mentors and youth as well as for the growth of ministries. In this blog post, Ruslan Asadov shares some of these highlights with us. To our ministry partners, through your donations, prayers, and encouragement you have made a special impact this year in the mentors, churches, and children that we reference in these highlights. Thank you so much for being who you are and for your impact!

In June, there was a summer camp in with YouthReach International partnered with Reconciliation Church in Bobruisk. This camp had a camp 42 orphans present as well as 30 Christian mentors. These 4 days were awesome as orphans and mentors spent time together in special bible classes, prayer, fun games, and sports.

In August, YouthReach International invited key Belarusian leaders and spouses to an annual family retreat at Green Ranch near Minsk. Our guests escaped from their daily routine and enjoyed their solitude time with God and each other. We all prayed for each other in small groups. YouthReach retreat blessed our leaders and their spouses. It is a pleasure to be able to bless and nurture these leaders as they serve their churches as well as orphans and at-risk youth in their community. Finally, in September, YouthReach International hosted for the first time a conference dedicated to women in ministry. We invited 54 female ministers from 16 local Belarusian churches to the first #Breath2017 Female ministers’ conference. About 50% of our guests are currently and actively involved in orphan or youth outreach through their home churches. Most of whom are also developing mentoring and discipleship programs in their regions. This conference encouraged our partners to continue working hard with their mentors and disciples in local churches ties.
