Kostya and Nadya Voropayev finished such training through "One Hope" organization in Ukraine and are working hard on developing strong and deep relationships with local churches in regions around Ukraine. The local church is called by God to look after orphans by mentoring them and our goal is to establish local mentoring communities so that mentors have constant access to children, can respond to their needs, can encourage them, and can serve their heart, mind and soul. The Importance of Cooperation with the Local Church from Kostya Voropayev For many years we have dreamed and worked hard on building cooperation between YouthReach International and local churches. In some cases, this has been missing, and in other cases, this has been challenging since each church or union has their own set of traditions and rules. In Krasnoarmeisk, we have a young mentoring community. Finding a mentor for every child within reach has been a challenge. In order to meet this challenge, we are building relationships with local churches there and providing training and seminars in order for the community to grow and develop.
