Board of Directors

YouthReach International is blessed to have a diverse Board of Directors, which provides oversight, direction, and encouragement to the staff and teams.

The following people are current members of the Board of Directors:

1. Jason Wright, Board Chair, based in Alpharetta, Georgia. Jason is a financial representative with COUNTRY Financial, owning his own practice for more than 10 years. He graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and has earned the professional designations Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) and Financial Services Specialist (FSS). Professionally, Jason serves on the board of directors for his local chapter of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Married to Allison, they have four boys: Caleb, Nathan, Daniel and Samuel. His family attends Anchor Church in Grayson. Jason enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his boys in multiple sports (particularly soccer), camping, hiking, and gardening.

“There are many organizations that do many things. There are some organizations that implement God’s Kingdom purposes effectively. There are very few who seek to do so in the world of orphans. YouthReach not only labors to make a Kingdom difference with orphans, it does so with excellence. The concept of raising up mentors by investing in the mentor, who then invests in orphans, has an impact on multiple people. The orphans are impacted in ways they never expected when the mentor personally connects with them. But the influence and opportunity doesn’t stop there. The mentors are trained and encouraged in Christ-like living and influence their own circle of peers, the orphanage directors and staff, and others in their communities. It is the implementation of Dawson Trotman’s concept of producing reproducers, producing mature believers in Jesus Christ who desire and seek to influence people all around them. Its exciting, its rewarding, its beautiful! Allison and I are glad to be a part of supporting YouthReach International.”

2. Gary Pendleton, Board Member, is the Agricultural Account Manager for Buckner/Superior, a division of Storm Industries located in Torrance, California, having worked in that industry for 47 years. His wife, Grace and he live in Fresno, California and have 4 children and 10 wonderful grandchildren. They have attended the College Church of Christ for 32 years and he has chaired the Missions Ministry for 29 years. They have traveled to Africa, Europe and Mexico in over sight of the efforts supported by Missions Ministry.

“I am excited and humbled to be a part of YouthReach as lives are being changed and turned to Jesus Christ. I believe in YouthReach and know that this ministry is making a difference and there is hope for the future.”

3. Randall Harris, Board Treasurer, is a Chick-Fil-A Franchisee in Overland Park, Kansas. He has enthusiastically been engaged in operating this best in class quick service restaurant since April, 2007. He employs an average of 55 dedicated individuals annually with a sales volume of 4.7 million annually. He has a BA in Accounting from St. Leo University in St. Leo Florida. Prior to owning a Chick-Fil-A restaurant, he was honored to work as a Forensic Accountant and field division Financial Manager. In addition, he served with distinction for 10 years in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Mechanical Engineer.

He has been married to his wife Donna for 29 years with 1 son, Paul. Paul is currently attending Manhattan Christian College, Manhattan, Kansas to attain his BA in Management and Ethics. He is active in the local Chamber of Commerce as a diplomat and is a board member of the Johnson County Kansas Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has traveled with Lifeshape International and YouthReach International to Russia and Belarus on 3 separate occasions conducting SERVE Model of Leadership training projects.

“YouthReach is hitting the mark and more when it comes to impacting young lives. They encourage and equip multi-level mentoring communities which in turn engage individually and impact orphans in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. In the midst of a system that heavily discounts the lives of anyone that cannot produce for society, YouthReach is helping to bring the hope and life changing gospel of Christ. They do this one young life at a time through investing in the mentoring community of nationals within each country. Thorough building relationships and trust with many business community leaders in these countries, YouthReach fosters nationals working within their own countries to serve orphans.”

4. Rob Browne, YouthReach International Executive Director, also serves as a non-voting member of the Board of Directors.
